Powertrain choices depend on the job and support environment

Combustion input

Record engine, transmission, drivetrain, fuel requirement and operating elevation. Ask which cooling, braking and maintenance provisions apply to the proposed configuration rather than extrapolating from another model.

Electric input

Distinguish nominal and usable battery capacity in kWh. Confirm connector, AC or DC charging power, site supply and range test cycle. Compare expected load, terrain, speed, climate and charging dwell with the reference conditions.

Service input

Request operator information, maintenance intervals, parts identification and proposed service route. Documentation and support availability need an order-specific supplier response; they are not guaranteed by a product family name.

Match configuration questions to the operating profile

Facility and property duty

Define passenger count, tools, cargo-box load, tow task, aisle width, gradients and surface. Ask for wheelbase, overall dimensions, ground clearance, payload basis and braking configuration for the exact fitted vehicle.

Recreation and guest duty

State route control, occupancy, weather protection, operating speed, daily distance and turnaround needs. Separate marketing range from the supplier's test basis and check how occupants, tires and terrain alter the expected duty cycle.

Dealer or rental fleet duty

List the configuration mix, expected utilization, operator turnover, service documentation and replacement-parts questions. Used units require VIN, model year, odometer or hours, dated condition images and inspection records for each vehicle.

Application questions that change the quote

No. Payload and towing depend on chassis, seating, cargo equipment, accessories, occupants and load distribution. Request the rating basis for the offered configuration.

No. Vehicle category, exact configuration, model year and destination rules require separate review by qualified parties. A supplier brochure cannot grant registration or import acceptance.

Use one quantity, destination and Incoterm. Separate vehicle, customization, inspection, documentation, packing, inland transport, freight, duty and destination-side service costs.

No. High-end, mid-range, economical and undecided express buyer priorities for finish, customization, service and cost. Fixed braking, load and evidence requirements remain acceptance gates.
